What is the language of instruction?
Courses are taught in English.
When will I be informed of the status of my application?
Summer School on Cultural Heritage Marketing for Sustainable Tourism applications are on a rolling basis, as they are received. We aim to respond to you by June 6, 2016. This means that a course may fill up before the application deadline. We encourage you to apply early to secure a place!
When do I have to pay the tuition?
The fees must be paid up until June 10, 2016, as communicated in the Admissions email and no later than the specific date. If payment is not made in due time, Summer School reserves the right to cancel the admission and attribute the place to another candidate.
What is the cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation, on your behalf, until June 10, 2016, the whole fee amount will be returned.
In case of cancellation, on your behalf, until the June 15, 2016, the fee amount will be returned by 50% only.
In case of cancellation, on your behalf, after June 15, 2016 no return will be made.
Summer School reserves the right to cancel the Course if it fails to meet the minimum recruitment level four weeks before its commencement. A full refund of the Tuition Fees will be made to the participants in such circumstances.
Does Summer School on Cultural Heritage Marketing for Sustainable Tourism provide accommodation?
All participants who will join our Summer Program will be offered high quality accommodation at Domotel Kastri (Bed breakfast & half board -14 days - in the hotel of the training centre)
Accommodation includes the following facilities:
- Indoor and outdoor social spaces
- Free Wi-Fi access in all bedrooms
- En suite bathroom.
- Laundry facilities.
- Friendly and helpful reception team.
Will I receive credits for my summer school course?
After the successful completion of the course, participants will be provided with an official Certificate that will be issued by AUEB. This successful completion will equal and lead to 4 ECTS credits. Participants can then validate the course at their home institution. However, it is their own responsibility to verify the validity of the course and formally validate it. The Summer School on Cultural Heritage Marketing for Sustainable Tourism will not be held responsible if the credits cannot be validated at the home institution.
Do I have personal insurance?
Summer School on Cultural Heritage Marketing for Sustainable Tourism does not provide insurance for its students. Consequently, we recommend that you investigate personal insurance coverage, particularly in respect of your personal possessions and medical expenses.
